Training

Training is one of the most crucial aspects of a well run helicopter company.

With over 25 full time pilots on staff, all our check and training is conducted inhouse. Three flight examiners and four multiengine instructors perform these functions under our Civil Aviation certified Pt 141 training organisation approval. In addition, this allows us to carry out all night vision goggle training required for the Police Air Support Unit. Human sling operations are another specialist area that requires a robust check and training program.

Flight Simulator

Our flight simulator offers training scenarios in a safe & controlled environment. Modelled on the Bell 429, our simulator is used for instrument currency, inadvertent IMC recovery, and multi-crew training. It mirrors all normal control functions including a fully coupled autopilot, Garmin GPS and weather modelling which includes low visibility, rain, and day/night simulations. Swipe to explore →
